Since 2002 Prof. Kern serves as Dean for student affairs in Dentistry (Studiendekan der Zahnmedizin). Since 2004 Prof. Kern serves as President of the Scientific Society for Dentisty in Schleswig-Holstein (Schleswig-Holsteinische Gesellschaft für Zahn-, Mund- und Kieferheilkunde).In June 2008 Prof. Kern became Vicepresident of the German Society for Prosthodontics and Dental Materials (Deutsche Gesellschaft für zahnärztliche Prothetik und Werkstoffkunde).

Dr. Axel Kirsch

Dr. Axel Kirsch is an internationally recognized pioneer in the field of perio-implant-prosthetics. Over the past more than 30 years, Dr. Kirsch’s experimental and clinical experience has resulted in the development of the IMZ Implant System, and since 1995, the Camlog Implant System. Dr. Kirsch and his interdisciplinary team of experts developed and tested the Camlog Implant system both experimentally and clinically.
His current clinical research is centered on the field of hard- and soft-tissue management for reliable implant-prosthetic rehabilitations.
Since 1974, Dr. Kirsch has given training courses and lectures throughout the world on the IMZ Implant System, on the Camlog Implant System, on preprosthetic surgery and on perio-implant-prosthetics; has published multiple scientific and clinical articles and holds academic appointments at the following institutions: Adjunct Professor at Boston University, Goldman School of Dental Medicine, Center of Implantology; Associate Professor at Nippon Dental University, Department of Crown and Bridge Prosthedontics; Visiting Professor, at the UCLA, Department for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Los Angeles, CA, U.S.A. and Associate Professor at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Stomatology.

Ruth Knülle ist die langjährige Leiterin des Sekretariats der Praxis von Dr. Hilger in Düsseldorf. Als Zahnmedizinische Fachangestellte Mitarbeit bei der Entwicklung und Ausgestaltung von systematischen Arbeitsabläufen sowie bei arbeitswissenschaftlichen Untersuchungen.

Vorträge und Veröffentlichungen von Fachbeiträgen zur Arbeitssystematik und zur Organisation des Infektionsschutzes.

Ruth Knülle ist Gründungsmitglied der Europäischen Gesellschaft für zahnärztliche Ergonomie.

MDT Wolfgang Kohlbach

Wolfgang Kohlbach was born on July 6th, 1953.
Together with his wife, Susanne Klein, live just outside of Kronberg / Taunus.
He received his Journeyman Letter as dental technician on 1994 in Frankfurt am Main. In 1994, he passed the Master Dental Technician exams and successfully directed the praxis lab of Dr. Jürgen Schmidt, in Kronberg / Taunus. In 2000, he began authoring and opened his own dental lab for esthetics and implant prosthesis in Kronberg / Taunus. Besides giving numerous scholarly presentations and courses, Wolfgang Kohlbach has authored several books: to include the "Dental Explorer in 3D", a multimedia information system for patents; "The Anatomy of Teeth and the kraniofazialen System"; and "The Descriptive Anatomy of Teeth" published by Quintessenz Verlag, Berlin. Wolfgang Kohlbach also has developed a new line of teeth for use in dentures, and is creator and producer of educational film presentations in the field of dentistry. He is not only a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Trustees for Prefect Dentures, but is on the jury for the board’s scholarship program.
